Comments for Debian 3.1:
After installing this image I suggest making the following changes in /etc/inittab:
1:2345:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty1
#2:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty2
#3:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty3
#4:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty4
#5:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty5
#6:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty6
You can’t use any console except the first one, so, you need only one getty.
If trying to chroot and upgrade to etch (4.0) do not forget to install module-init-tools - eth0 won’t start otherwise. Add xennet in /etc/modules as well.
